THE POOCH POUCH
The Pooch Pouch has been designed for dog owners who are taking their pets away for a short break. The box contains all flat packs which can be easily assembled and sealed with the stickers provided. This is a sustainable product, as all of the packaging can be reused as many times as necessary and it saves having to transport an unnecessary quantity of supplies.
SPEAKING FROM EXPERIENCE
This range of materials have been produced for first year students studying Graphic Design at Leeds College of Art. All of the materials are tailored towards students who are moving away from home for the first time and are not used to living with new people. Inside the 'apron' a recipe book can be found, along with personal recipe cards which students can send home for their families to fill in with their favourite meals, stickers for tupperware containers, a set of individual blank shopping lists and a tea towel in keeping with the cream and black theme.
KIMBERLY-CLARK MEMO PAD
This memo pad has been designed for new employees at Kimberly-Clark. It is reusable as the paper found inside of the box can be replaced by simply opening the bottom of the box up and feeding the paper through the top. It also serves another purpose, to remind employees of all of the ethical values of the company as well as the need for sustainability in their practice.
THE VENUE HAIR COMPANY
These reusable appointment cards were designed for The Venue Hair Company. The colour scheme was taken from the interior of the salon itself. This allows for consistency across all of their branding and any printed materials they may require.
COMPACKAGING WEBSITE
This website was designed to help encourage people to purchase products using compostable packaging to help the environment. The design of the website has a clean and minimal aesthetic, enabling the audience to be able to navigate around it easily. Using the same shade of green applied to the compostable logo, I was able to create circular navigation to represent the endless lifecycle of compostable packaging.
AUTISM PUBLICATION
This publication was designed for carers of children with autism, taking the form of wooden building blocks designed for children, and adopting the same aesthetic to create a more interesting, interactive outcome. The concertinas found inside represent the layout of flash cards, allowing the information to be received as concisely as possible, and also link directly to existing learning tools currently used for children with autism. The glasses with changeable filters are provided to allow the audience to have the same experience as an autistic child would, when faced with lots of different colours, this is known as sensory overload.
YCN FEDRIGONI DESK CALENDAR
This Fedrigoni desk calendar was designed in response to a YCN competition brief. The calendar is designed to promote the Fedrigoni Woodstock paper range to graphic designers. Each month, a different sample is revealed, with all of the relevant information provided. This solution is interactive, encourages the audience to engage with the product, and takes up a minimal amount of space in a working environment.
YCN CHAMPNEYS COLLBORATION
This Champneys sub brand of products was created in response to another YCN competition brief which required designing an outcome to persuade 16-25 year olds to spend their money at Champneys spa visits and on their products as opposed to 'boozy nights out'. Working alongside another graphic designer, the 'Hush Home Spa' logo was devised, along with all of the bottle packaging and the gift set.
